An important aspect of Haitian cultural expression that often faces less praise as an element of Haitian life is Haitian Vodou. As a spiritual manifestation that has deep roots in Haitian society, Haitian Vodou is often mischaracterized and pejoratively deemed as a cultural fetishism. In this episode we will seek to dismiss the myths and stereotypes about Haitian Vodou and clarify its cosmological foundations and core beliefs
